This article provided some background to the aspect of  how nonprofits tie into social justice issues. Theory of Change at Learning 4 Life After reading this article, I found it helpful and insightful. I enjoyed the worksheet that was provided. The organizational chart was helpful to visually see how someone would set these goals and then plan steps to achieve them. When you plan long term and have a larger picture in mind, you must plan for things to go wrong or have multiple avenues. When your plan does not go the way you thought it would, then it is important to not get discouraged. Making a stronger plan or collaborating with others may help achieve a goal. This post is to get me back in on my work grindddd. Graduation is coming near and I wanted to make sure I was on my shishhhhhh I am making a commitment to myself that I will continue to  make these efforts to completing the work!!! This blog post is to remind myself why I have worked so hard through the years here at Rhode Island College and why I wan to continue.      I do all of this for my daughter and will not give up because I am strong for her. I am so thankful for all of the communities that I have created and look forward to continuing my advanced education  here at RIC and hopefully then pursue law!

Mission Statement   PASA’s mission is to expand and improve quality after-school, summer, and other expanded learning opportunities for the youth of Providence by organizing a sustainable, public/private system that contributes to student success and serves as a national model. After going through the website I was able to see the variety of programs that they offer to students and schools. They provide hands-on learning to expand their learning strategy and appeal student needs. Students are able to develop a sense of belonging and ownership of their learning,. I love all of that they provide a wide variety of learning options to encourage creativity. I also really like the events and news that they share on the website. This allows the community to stay involved and be able to share events easily.   If I was able to choose a Future Position within the organization, I would choose to be the Executive Director!!
